Sorry, but I’m pretty sure that’s not his security guy. That concert was pre-Nevermind (I’d know; I have most of their shows), and they did not have security guys at all back then. Ever. It’s just some redneck fool.
A funnier concert was one around 1989 up in New York (rose garden? not sure of the name, this is off the top of my head) where a drunk man managed to get up on stage and steal one of the microphones in the middle of a song and started talking to the audience. Got a laugh out of that one.
It’s odd to observe that after Nevermind and during the In Utero phase, their concerts were really uneventful, even despite the traditional set-wrecking at the end of the show. Kurt breaking his guitars and enacting his vengeance out on the amps got old after a while. That had to be one of the most boring times of Nirvana; sadly, it had to coincide with their best songs. C’est la vie, I guess.
