Well a gathering of family and close friends witnessed possibly the most bizarre fireworks display as the ashes of the late, great Hunter S. Thompson were blasted from a cannon over his legendary Owl Farm compound in Aspen, Colorado this weekend. And thus ends the life of a true literary legend. He will be missed.
